Part-time · Tacoma, WA (6th Ave)
$16.75–$19.00/hr + tips

Heads up. This is a back-of-house kitchen prep position, not a customer service role. If you haven't spent time in a kitchen cutting & chopping, weighing & measuring, and following recipes, this probably isn't the job for you. If you have — read on, this might be your new favorite place to work.

About Us

Gather Juice Co. is a cold pressed juice and smoothie bar in Tacoma's 6th Ave neighborhood. We're looking for chill, fun people who want to actually enjoy coming to work to join our team and support our mission of making the world a happier, healthier place.

What we're looking for

Real kitchen experience. You've worked in actual prep — chopping, weighing, following recipes — not just assembling food.

Self-directed. You know how to stay productive without constant supervision.

Chill under pressure. You don't mind doing a little of everything and you don't freak out when things shift.

A fixer. When something goes wrong, you're not waiting for someone else to sort it out.

Good with sharp objects. Without bleeding all over the place.

In it for the long haul. You want to grow with a company you believe in.

What's in it for you

A job that's fun and has meaning where you wouldn't rather lay down in front of a riding lawnmower than go to work.

The chance to connect with cool, like-minded people and to learn and grow.

Work/life balance. Flexible scheduling, paid time off, and some holiday closures.

Free food.

Reimbursement for yoga, gym membership, or meditation app.

How to apply

email your resume to jobs@gatherjuice.co. Please don't call the shop or stop by with a resume. The team is busy and we promise this is what we prefer.

The fine print

Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of true food prep experience — cutting, chopping, weighing, and following recipes.

Flexible availability is a must: early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

This is physical work. You'll be standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using your upper body a lot.

Ability to pass a background check — we all make mistakes, don't let it stop you from applying but be ready to talk about it honestly.

Ability to multitask and shift priorities without losing your cool.
